Celebrating World Oceans Day 2021

Celebrating World Oceans Day 2021

The second virtual celebration of United Nations World Oceans Day took place on June 8th 2021. The annual celebration has highlighted the theme of The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods.

2021 World Ocean Day has shed light on the wonder of the ocean and how it is our life source, supporting humanity and every other organism on Earth. This year's theme is relevant in the lead-up to the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, which will run from 2021 to 2030. The Decade will strengthen international cooperation to develop scientific research and innovative technologies that can connect ocean science with the needs of society. Here are some projects that care about oceans prevention.
